![]() I am truly sorry for my inappropriate behavior. I then escorted you out the door, and said some things I totally regret. I took offense, and called you a miserable person (not a loser). I invest a lot, and am very proud of my wine list. That is more than any restaurant in the city. The last comment set me off, I am a Sole Proprietor, Independent Owner, and offer over 100 bottled wines and 20 by the glass to all areas of the restaurant. You seek me out to tell me that my Server is pompous, and that I have no wines by the glass. I thought we would leave it at that, but no. ![]() We then brought you a Terimisu dessert for your birthday. I love to reach out to all my tables in the restaurant (anyone will tell you that), but at this point I did not think that would have been a good idea. He offered you something else, but you were not interested. Kent approached me after dinner and said you returned the veal saying it was tough. ![]() You said "don't bother", I said no singing, just dessert. I came over after and told you to leave room for a special dessert for the occasion. Jeff talked to me, and we decided to replace him with another Server, Kent. My Server, Jeff approached your table immediately, and obviously there was a mis-understanding between you. She explained that it was your birthday, and you told me in no uncertain terms to not make a big deal about that. I was the one who seated you and your wife Sunny. The Manager you refer to is actually me, the Owner of Cibo. All in all, a great experience.Dear Victor, I'm going to take the heat on this one. We have paid a lot more locally for way less. The bill was surprisingly reasonable for the quality of food. We had a bottle of pretty decent wine (plus an extra glass for me!!) and hubby had a cappuccino with dessert. We only ordered dessert as we didn't want the night to end. We're not really 'dessert people' so this in no way spoiled our experience. We shared a dessert, the chocolate lava cake, which looked fantastic when it arrived but was mildly disappointing - not rich or chocolatey enough for me. My dearest one had the 'salmone alla piccata' which he declared delicious. It was truly the best meal I've had in a long time (if I only had a sweater on it would have been a perfect night). Now for the entrees.OMG!!! I ordered the 'Filetto di manzo', which came with mashed potatoes and saute spinach but what made it heavenly was the mouthwatering combination of the port wine demi glace and a gorgonzola fonduta. The food was to die for! My husband and I both had a salad to start - he the house salad and me the spinach salad - both perfectly fresh and delicious. What a gem of a place and just a 5 minute drive from our home!! Our server was so lovely and warm and I'm sorry I cant remember her name but she took great care of us, with just the right amount of attention, bringing us more bread (amazing) and explaining all the dishes in detail. This, however, was the only negative thing I have to say about this lovely new discovery. I realized immediately that I should have worn warmer clothes, as the temperature was just a little too cold for me to really enjoy my meal. We arrived and were greeted pleasantly and quickly shown to our table - a booth in the 'bar side' of this surprisingly small restaurant. I had tried to make a reservation at Cibo for the previous Saturday and they were fully booked (always a good sign) so I booked a table for the next Saturday at 8pm.
